Margaret Tudor

I'm a supply-addict. I don't think that's news to anyone. Even though I've been good, sticking to the bare necessities *hums the Disney song* and following my strict shopping lists to a T, I still have a reasonable stash of "One day the right project will come up for this material, I'm sure!"-stuff.
And that day finally came for one of my printed felts! =D

An order from the lovely K., in the US, she asked for a doll inspired by her character at TRF, Margaret Tudor.
Her gorgeous attire was mostly made by her mother, so I had some pretty big shoes to fill!

I could embroider the gown like crazy and it still wouldn't look as nice as the original, so I settled for a mere suggestions with this gold print burgundy felt. <3<3<3
Loved making her partlet with a lace trim!

I gave her my favorite do, the coiled braid. Oh, and isn't the hat lovely, with the tiny feather? <3

The sleeves were a challenge with their tiny rose decorations. I couldn't make ribbons roses tiny enough for the proper scale, but they still look fine, imho.

Such a wonderful doll to make! Loved her!
