First, the dashing navy captain! *swoons*
He doesn't have a particular inspiration, but his costume was a mix'n'match of images leyosura sent me.
His shirt has a cute little ruffle going down the centre and the handling of the gold cord went so delightfully smooth! Wonderful!
:) I love when my lil' guys wear ponytails! So fancy!
Close up of his sleeve, epaulette and pocket.
Second, the scandalous Lady Worsley!
For this one I had the invaluable help of one of my favorite dress diaries: http://augustintytar.blogspot.pt/2012/0
Her wig is slightly stuffed and I puffed her skirt just a little bit for a more real look.
This was the most complicated part of the whole doll, those silver cord decorations to the buttonholes. From breaking the cord a few times to stabbing myself with the needle, everything happened! But it was worth it in the end. =)
I love her back. That little ruffle at the back of her jacket and her curls just... Squeee! =D
For the ruffled cuff I used the same ribbon as her cravat.
And the wonderful leyosura sent me a bunch of photos of my babies in their new home, including one of them together with her other Deridolls, Henry V, Hamlet and Ophelia! <3<3<3
