Xena and Gabrielle commission

A commission from the lovely deensey, from Australia, who asked for dolls of Xena and Gabrielle from the TV show "Xena - Warrior Princess". =)



Her skirt has a bit of stitching for a paneled effect with strips peppered with french knots.


The embroidery on her bodice and shoulder is very simple, but I wanted to evoke the bronze work of her armour.


Gabrielle was a sweet doll to make. She's very simple with a laced top and a belted skirt.


And here they are together and with their weapons of choice! =)
